Jillian Noel Hennely was born 25 November in 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress who has made an important contribution to American TV. She's best known for her incredible performance on the American television shows Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh). For these roles she received the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker is also the recipient of the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
